Broadcaster

Gerry Sandusky grew up in the world of sports, literally, as the son of longtime NFL coach John Sandusky. In a sense, he followed his father’s footsteps to stadiums. As the play-by-play voice of the Baltimore Ravens and the sports director of WBAL-TV, Baltimore’s NBC affiliate, Gerry spends hundreds of hours a year on air. His career has taken him from Baltimore, MD to the Super Bowl to all-star games to the White House. He is a regular contributor to NFL Network.

Gerry has won numerous awards for his broadcasting, including two regional Edward R. Murrow and Emmy awards. He has also been named one of Maryland’s most influential people.

Viewers and listeners know Gerry by his trademarked catch phrase, “The Hay’s in the Barn”
